It means Source Software Developer's Kit, and it contains all the models, sounds and everything that half-life 2 or any other source game basically uses. People use this to create their own modifications (like Smashball).
and a Dedicated Server is a game server (like Big Flem's) that runs from your own computer. You can download the server, start it for whatever game you want, and the server will sow up in that game.
