TKC (The Killing Committee) Forum

I pretty much only listen to progressive and power metal, and classical symphonic type of stuff. For me its all about the instrumentals. But anyway post whatever you like, from your favorite band from whatever genre of music. I think itd be interesting to see what everyone is into in TKC.

If you listen to either of these i suggest you listen to the whole thing(they are long i know) but as it is progressive metal, the song is constantly changing. Just because you dont like the sound in the beginning does not mean you will think the same thing eight minutes in. Also, yes it is metal, but it is not even anything like your stereotypical death metal with all the death growls and screams and stuff. Im into metal, but cant stand death, i only like power and prog that typically has whats known as "clean" vocals.

I like rap, but Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV was bad. He had a lot of expectations to meet and didnt really do it. She Will is pretty sick but thats bout it.

J. Cole is wayy better and he actually says something when he drops.

Always liked Dream Theater but haven't heard any of there new stuff, sounds good.

not a fan of the progressive metal myself
more into electro industrial, idm, etc.

gridlock, haujobb, skinny puppy, noise unit, to name a few.

DREAM THEATER FTW. They're my favorite band! Also, I just started listening to these guys: Sons of Seasons. They're a German band and they created the genre "Dark Symphonic Metal." Really cool stuff. Here's two of my favs.

i listen to about everything from 50s to industrial to rap and final country so for favorites i would have to use a whole thread.

Though, recently i've become addicted to J-pop/J-rock (Japanese pop/rock) :p

But what i listen to is a bit of everything with the exception of Country. Rap (none of the new stuff these days though..), metal, rock, techno/rave, pop, classical etc..

Lol, im actually going do a Dream Theater concert this month, and trivium is going to be opening for them.
