    Donations

Currently we are running low on funds, we have enough to pay for one more month, so if you haven't donated in a while please think about contributing a couple of bucks to help keep things going.

Actually I had to stop my $100 donation due to not having as much money as I thought. I will be able to donate again sometimes early Oct but for now you don't have enough money to make it 1 month. You desperately need donations.

We still haven't gotten enough in donations to feel overly comfortable. Especially with me having to yank my $100 back. A few more donations would put us in a better situation.

    Re: Donations

    Big problem...

I only took $75 of my $100 back, hoping I could leave the $25 in case we didn't have enough money... well guess what....

A couple of yearly bills came in and we now have $0 in our account. Here are the two bills:

Sep 17, 2012 Payment To IX Web Hosting
    Completed
Details Payment To IX Web Hosting 65R7657496661971J -$68.50 USD

Sep 16, 2012 Payment To NuclearFallout Enterprises
    Completed
Details Payment To NuclearFallout Enterprises 29W14943C3532005J -$64.99 USD

We are in deep doodoo. We really need someone to come through and give us some money, If a monthly bill comes in, we can't pay. That could mean the website goes down, game servers, whatever. Please, someone who hasn't given in a while or something.. we really need help here. As I have said, I can give a couple hundred dollars sometime in Oct, but I can't do it right now.. If someone could make a $100 donation, or more. I would even be willing to pay you back of need be. It would probably be between Oct 5th and 10th before I could pay you back. It would be paypal to paypal. For love of TKC, I am asking someone to step up. Thanks.

BTW if you need more assurances about paying you back if you can only "loan" money to the clan, then PM me. I'll be willing to talk to anyone via phone or Teamspeak and tell you what is going on and make you more at ease about being paid back. But long and short is, I've cashed in 30k worth of stock and I am just waiting on the sell date, Oct 1st, then they will mail me a check, so paying back $100 or $200 or $500 won't be a problem.

    Re: Donations

Sorry guys, I really am. I used to be able to donate but being an unemployed Electronics Engineering student at a private school is rough. I had to buy like $400 worth of tools and parts for my first class. What makes it all even worse is the State of California cut my CAL Grant half way through my first set of classes, which was about $14k a year for my tuition. The only reason I'm able to hang on here without that is that i was awarded a $32,500 scholarship by my school, and even with that I'm barely hanging on. Maybe once I can find a job up here I will be able to contribute more.

    Re: Donations

Ok guys a new situation has occurred. Apparently since we did not have enough money to cover all the yearly bills, plus another bill that has come through, they took $65 from my checking account that is tied to the Paypal account. Guys, I have $35 dollars in my checking account with a bill due for $158. I didn't even realize that could happen without my consent. I am asking for someone to donate more money to cover the money that was taken from my account. Again, if you need the money back I will pay you back in the first half of Oct. I am up a creek right now and I really need some help quickly.

I had no idea this had happened until just a min ago when I was checking on my balance and I had a lot less than I was expecting. I then went through the transactions and bam, there was a transaction from yesterday for the cost of one of those yearly bills for TKC. So, money not in Paypal account, boom, take it from the checking account that is tied to it. Not good. I really need help and I need it quickly.. please. As I have said, I have a big check being mailed to me on the 1st of Oct and can set it all straight.

I will sum it up more clearly below...

Paypal automatically took money from my checking account to cover a TKC bill without my knowledge (because we didn't have money in the Paypal account) and now I don't have enough money to cover my water bill. Please understand the situation... money was taken from my checking to pay bills for you guys and now my water will be cut off on Monday. I just want to pay my utility bill. Thanks.

    Re: Donations

that is one of the reasons i stopped using paypal, went from a 6.99 hosting fee which overdrew my checking account, to almost $300 after all the penalty's. removed my checking account and changed banks because of it.
let me see if i can come up with more.

    Thanks dude.

I wonder now if this has happened before and I didn't really notice because I had money and wasn't just barely getting by. You tend to watch your money more closely when you have very little. Usually our account has enough money to cover our bills, but in this case it was the perfect storm. We didn't have a lot of money in the account and then like $130 in yearly bills hit in the span of a day.

I wouldn't be doing my job if I didn't remind you that we still have less than $2 in our paypal. Any bills come through and we're hosed. I think flynn and knight have done their best, anyone else around that can donate a little bit. As I have said, I am willing to pay back any donation you'll just have to wait a 2-3 weeks to get reimbursed.
