There is an issue with auto updates being forced on you which is breaking computers with nvidia drivers. I won't be updating until they allow you to turn off auto updates for certain things, including graphics cards.

So do I.. but windows 10 is supposed to be good.. but this driver issue needs to be resolved.

just got my desktop updated, so far so good. it automatically installed the latest driver which is what i had in there anyway. games run fine, no issues so far, i will know more tonight.

I hate MetroUI, my wife has Win8.1 on her laptop, yuck.

i see there is program out to help with the auto updates but it is not a permanent fix also there are plenty of sites showing how to disable them completely but in the same breathe i am also waiting for awhile before i upgrade my pc's with it.

Yeah I knew about the program, but I don't trust that as a long term solution. I am reading that Microsoft and Nvidia got on the same page but at this point I'm going to wait at least a couple of weeks. I'm reading that is probably the best thing to do. Wait for them to iron out some bugs.

i am going to have to agree and say wait, some of the issues i was having in the tech builds i am still having in the RTM version. and if you do upgrade to win10, stay away from the mail application. that thing is buggy as hell.
i do LOVE the virtual desktops though
