man i need a new rig

well i was playing l4d2 with van and T, and this loaner computer overheated(i think) and shut down.. i've got a few hundred dollars saved up so pretty soon i'm gonna try to build a pc out of the (TKC) case i won. i kept the loaner off all day and put my fan next to it and it seems to be working fine now.

not the best solution but, if u think its a heat issue take off the side panel and have a fan blow into the case. I had to do this for my old case which only had one exhaust fan and the cpu fan. it overheated anytime i didnt take the side panel off and if i played games for a cpl hours i had to have the fan blowing on it to move the heat out or it would start artifacting and crash. I bet the case u won has some pretty good airflow though. so it should be good once u build ur new one.

Ouch yeah try not to kill it yet man you just got back. But yeah putting like a floor fan right next to it blowing away will give nice negative pressure to move heat away from everything.
