idunno... it seems like a cool idea but then it seems kinda silly to carry around a "pad" that doesn't work unless you stop and insert your phone... might as well just be an android pad and phone with synced browser tabs.. meh

I agree, but they more or less did it so that You can:
Get more battery Life
Use our phone on a bigger screen
Share a 3G plan (instead of getting it on 2 devices)

Get more battery Life
Use our phone on a bigger screen
Share a 3G plan (instead of getting it on 2 devices)

I like the hp veer & touchpad combo better... an uber small phone and a pad that works, and u can send tabs/pages directly to the pad from the phone so they're ready to look at when u pull out the tablet... plus can be used independently AND have long battery life... meh i just think asus is on the wrong track here... docking stations are for desks imho
