Yeah razer's been advertising BF3 for a while. That's just a Black Widow Ultimate with different LED's and a different paintjob ahaha. Sinner instead of getting a "Headset" why not get a good pair of comfy headphones and a 15$ clip-on mic?

I went cheap with my current headset and am regretting every minute of game play with this thing so I'm going to be spending about $100 on a new headset. If ya'll got idea's for one let me know please.

Sennheiser is good. Do you have a external soundcard? (As in not part of your mobo)

I wouldnt reccomend any razer audio equipment. Senheiser is a goos brand too, i personally use a set of Audio Technica studio headphones that run about $150 that sound far better than any gaming headset i have used, and a desktop mic.

I have a Turtle Beach headset that I originally got for my Xbox 360, but luckily it also doubles as a PC headset. It's got really good sound quality, and when I play BC2 I can hear EVERYTHING going on around me...some people think I hack because when they go to knife me I can hear them running up behind me and I turn around and shoot them
My headset is the Turtle Beach Ear Force X11. It's $60

Medusa 5.1 is worth checking out. I have no complaints with mine.

AD700 I presume?
Turtle beach is a good yet overpriced brand as well. Not as bad as razer but still sheesh. I've always been a fan of buying a really good pair of headphones and a cheap mic. Just because "Headsets" are either cheap and ineffective for gaming or pricer then their headphone only counterparts.

I had a pair of AD700's but the external speakers they have due to the honeycombing, caused me to pass them on to a friend whose a radio DJ. I replaced them with AKG K 271 MK II's Great pair of headcans, however. Nukem, if you really want to get into it, any pair of "Gaming" headphones is about the same as any other they all have the Hz frequency of 20-20K so the only difference is their ability to position audio, and comfort. I have a friend of mine who SWEARS by his Razer Megalodon.

I use an old
Sennheiser pc151 headset...
for keyboard(s) I use an
Ideazon "game fang"
having a "game claw" keyboard like this is a great way to transition to WASD for all the arrow key users out there. I get all the comfort of properly aligned "arrow" keys (really just wasd) without having to change any game's default wasd settings.. plus all the number keys and functionality keys very close for quick access. Jump/space key is on the side for added kung fu grip style bunny hopping! lol

That just seems like a cluster f*** of buttons haha. I like wasd so much cause it keeps everything near it but at the same time spaced out, I look at that thing and all I see is me hitting auto run instead of crouch, I'm sure once you get used to it it's pretty epic but eh.
