ASUS Sabertooth P67 LGA1155 :icon_mrgreen:

The armor on it is really cool. Only one I've seen like it. The armor when paired with a 50mm fan (slot right above the PCIe 2.0 x16 slot. It's directly over the north bridge.) cools the components a LOT more efficiently. It's also got a TON of temp sensors so you can keep track of the temps all over the board. Most other boards don't have this many temp sensors.

It's $200, and the i5-2500k I got to go with it is $225. I also bought a 50mm assist fan to help cool under the armor.

Did you even adjust the voltage to get it up to 4.5GHz? My 955 is at 3.7GHz just from raising the multiplier.

What I found to work the best is to use the offset + voltage and go from there. I need offset + .080v to reach my 4.7Ghz stable. But to be stable at 4.5 Ghz I need offset + .015v. Now to get my 5.1Ghz I need about 1.5v overall. That is set manually to that voltage.

Here are a couple websites I keep BM'd. Very useful info. Learned alot about my 2600k just by reading this stuff.

My stock voltage is 1.24V. Love the fact that when using offset voltage, my voltage at idle is 0.906V!

Quickly quickly quickly! Your gonna love it. BTW the CPU is a bit of a bugger to get in. You are going to feel as if your breaking it when locking it but I assure you its normal with these!

Luni, mine is here:

and no, mine is not better than the one you linked lol

Plum, ran into trouble with it. Turns out my old mobo's SATA mode was set to IDE and that's what I installed windows as. this one's default is AHCI. I had issues booting up until I changed the mode to IDE, but I'm having a crapload of issues at my desktop now. I'm just moving all my stuff (music, games, etc) and doing a clean install under AHCI. I won't be gaming till later tonight most likely.
