    ASUS VG236H 3D Vision Nvidia

I have gotten my monitor, and have been using it for about a day, and I personally think that the money was well spent.
The monitor is a 3D vision ready display with 1080p running at 120 Hz.

It is a TN panel, and it is glossy, not matte. I personally prefers the glossy ones because it delivers better colours, wich are crusial for the image quality in my opinion. The only negative I see about glossy dispalys, is that they reflect what's behind you if you have a light behind you.

    General:
The monitor itself is kind of fat. It surely isn't one of the slim designs wich is so popular theese days. But actually, I dont care a bit about it. I want quality, not design. If I preferred design, I would go for another monitor, though it looks neat in my opinion. The monitor is 23''. It uses hard buttons, and no touch buttons.

    Color and display:
The colors of this monitor is absolutely amazing, and I have to say that I haven't seen a display good enough to be compared to this one. I just love it. It delivers super clear and sharp images. I have never seen anything like it, but ofcourse it could be better with a larger resolution, but I see no need for that.

    3D:
This monitor supports Nvidia's 3D vision. I have been using it alot today, and I must say that it is amazing. I have tried out a few games on it jet (Crysis 2, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Portal 2). All of theese games preforms good in 3D vision, though I think Portal and Crysis delivers better 3D. What makes BC2 preform less good in 3D is the corsairs, and stuff ingame like tracer spotts and stuff. You have to work really hard with your eyes to find out where there has been placed a trace, because, you focus on the battlefield, and then you have to "zoom out" to see the spotts and stuff clearly. But once you get used to it, it is amazing. Battlefield too. After you have discovered the magic of 3D, you are not going back. Its that simple. It gives a whole new dimension, and makes you able to see the distances between stuff ingame and yourself. I cant really describe it, it is that amazing. One minus about the 3D, is that if there is a light object among dark objects, you see 3 of the light object because it gets in on both eyes, tho it should only get in on one. Other than that I cant really say more, except that you have to get used to 3D, and it WILL seem annoying in the beginning, because it is hard for your eyes and shit. :icon_talk:
    Glasses:
The glasses that followed with the monitor are not so comortable, and fits generally quite bad. I really must say.

    Screen and display: 9/10
    Design: 6/10
    3D: 8/10

Ill upload some pictures soon, its too dark to take clear pictures with my camera now.

So there ya go. Hope you get some useful info out of it :)

I didn't get any chance to take pictures with anything other than my cellphone.. Sorry about that, and I used all lightning I had, but it wasn't enough.. Anyways.. There you go.

I doubt it. The way those 3D glasses works is they're "active shutter glasses" meaning that the shutters open and close in a specific way to send the images to each eye to create the 3D effect.
