    New Mouse = Blah

I've been using a Logitech Performance MX mouse for years now...and for anyone who hasn't used one I *highly* recommend it. Ergonomics are just about perfect, it's got some nice weight to it, and works on virtually any surface. Anyways, I think age finally caught up with mine, and since it isn't really marketed as a 'gaming mouse', I wanted to pick one up that was.

Long story short, I ended up getting a G500s...mostly because it had configurable DPI settings, you can customize the weight of the mouse, and it was affordable haha. Anyways...I didn't realize it's a wired mouse, so that kinda sucks. But the main issue is skill in using it. I can't believe how much more I suck in-game with this thing when compared to the MX. The feel is so different it's insane...just a friggin mouse! Anyone ever experienced this? Switching to a new mouse after extended time with a previous one? Am I just retarded?? Haha!

Anytime you change your mouse it takes a while to get used to it. And yes, you will suck until that happens.

I also, in the last year or so, switch from wireless to wired and I definitely miss wireless, but to me the sniper button feature was more important after using the RAT 9. But I went with Corsair, M65 RGB.

I felt the same way after switching keyboards from my old Saitek Eclipse (best kb ever!) to my current Steelseries Apex (worst kb ever!). The reason is because the form factor is bigger, including the keys. It took me a few weeks to get used to it. Now everytime I used someone else's computer, I look like an idiot who can't type because I'm used to the bigger form factor.

In short, I'm getting rid of this junk kb, because of horrible drivers and claims to have anti-ghosting keys, but doesn't, to something probably by Logitech or back to Saitek.

But, yes, I know the pain of switching peripherals.

I went from a G5 Keyboard to a Razer Mechanical (black widow) and to a Razer Mouse (Taipa).. it took a bit of getting used to. I love the mouse it's conforms to the hand it has two thumb buttons that are easy to use. I'm not a fan of the DPI buttons, they seem a bit too sensitive to push so sometimes I accidentally push them which freaks me out for a second. But all in all I like it.

if you were coming off the MX it may have been easier to get use to a G700, that mouse is amazing! alas when my 2nd g700 kicked the bucket i was caught up in the fancy rgb fad and bough a Corsair M65. the mouse is not bad but a bit on the small side for my hands and did take a bit of time to get use too.

I have the Corsair M65 RGB but I didn't buy it for the lights, its the re-worked sniper button I wanted. I bought the M65 about a year ago and the sniper button was too far forward, they fixed it now I'm a happy camper, plus now my mouse is black and lights up red like the rest of my system. :P
